How the nanoSPACE Air ERIK ozone generator works

Air from the room is drawn by a fan into the nanoSPACE Air ERIK device, where a portion of the airborne oxygen is converted into ozone by a corona discharge. The device first breaks oxygen molecules in the intake air into individual atoms using a high-voltage corona discharge. These atoms then regroup in threes to form ozone molecules.

Thanks to the fact that ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent, it removes all sources of contamination or odors through its action and ensures complete disinfection of the treated areas. When the correct cleaning procedure is followed, complete disinfection and elimination of all contaminating and hazardous substances is achieved. During these reactions, ozone converts back into oxygen. The use of ERIK ozone generators is completely safe and 100% environmentally friendly.

Application

1. Before starting ozonation, carefully read the user manual.
2. No people or live animals may remain in the room. Remove live plants as well.
3. Remove sources of odors such as cigarette butts, ash, and biological waste.
4. Make sure all windows are closed. Place the ozone generator on a stable surface.
5. Set the desired time (see table below) and start the ozonation process. If you have no experience using the device, always set the lowest time and repeat the process if necessary.
6. Leave the room and close the door. If necessary, seal the space under the door.
7. Do not enter the room immediately after ozonation ends. Allow the ozone at least 1 hour to decompose and dissipate.
8. Ventilate the room thoroughly.

Although ozone occurs naturally in the Earth’s atmosphere, it is a toxic gas with a characteristic metallic smell. No people or animals may be present in rooms during ozone treatment! For longer exposure times, it is recommended to remove houseplants from the room. Do not use the device in dusty environments or at air humidity above 60%. No liquids must enter the device. If this happens, do not use the device and contact the manufacturer. Do not unplug the power cable from the electrical outlet while the generator is producing ozone, as this could damage the built-in electronics.
