What the serum is for

Vitamin C acts as a cofactor in the formation of firm collagen (prolyl/lysyl hydroxylase). The Humbert (2003) study showed that 5% L-ascorbic acid significantly increased the production of type I and III collagen after 6 months. It also blocks the enzyme tyrosinase, slowing excessive melanin production and helping to reduce dark spots. The serum neutralises free radicals, evens out skin tone and adds radiance. It also protects against blue light (HEVL) from screens — radiation that has been shown to trigger new pigmentation.

What's inside

The formula is built on an extract of the freshwater alga Tetradesmus obliquus, known as RADICARE-GOLD. According to the ingredient manufacturer's clinical tests, it strengthens the skin barrier by 68 % and increases protection against reactive oxygen species from blue light by 42 %. Oat lipids (Oat Lipid e) supply the skin with linoleic acid, phospholipids and ceramides. These ceramides naturally make up ~50 % of the skin's lipid layer and effectively prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL). The formula is completed by MYRAMAZE-ESSENCE, an extract from the resurrection plant, and the precious AlgaPúr oil. According to the manufacturers of these ingredients, together they provide deep hydration and reliable antioxidant protection.
