How Does the Nano Filter Work?

The nano filter is made of a barrier nano-film that works on the principle of a mechanical barrier. This means that the size of the holes in the nanofiber membrane is so small that a virus, bacteria or other sub-micron particles will not pass through.

How Long Can I Use One Nano Filter?

The effectiveness of the filter decreases with wear time, providing optimal protection for 12 hours. Once the filter gets wet, it loses its ability. The wear of the filter depends on the intensity of breathing, for example during sports or high-intensity activity we recommend changing it after 2-3 hours.

How Do I Know if the Filter in the Mask Is Ineffective?

As soon as you feel that it is harder to breathe in your filter mask, it is a sign that the filter is clogged. At that point, we recommend replacing the filter.

Instructions for Inserting the Replacement Nanofilter:

1. Wash your hands or use disinfectant before using the filter.
2. Place the filter in a clean cotton mask with a pocket.
3. Do not touch the mask or filter while wearing it.
4. After removing the mask, remove the filter and dispose of it immediately in the mixed waste.

How Do I Use the Pocket Mask?

1. Sterilise and iron the mask before first use.
2. Wash your hands or use disinfectant before putting it on.
3. Insert a nanofiber filter into the mask.
4. Put the mask on so that it covers your nose and chin.
5. Do not touch the mask while wearing it.
6. When removing the mask, hold the strings only and wash your hands thoroughly or use disinfectant afterwards.

How Do I Maintain the Mask with a Pocket?

Sterilise the mask after each use by using a mask sanitiser, boiling or ironing.

Sizing

In general, size S/M is suitable for women and children from 10 years of age. The larger size L/XL should be chosen for men with larger faces (the model is wearing size S).

How Do I Determine the Size of the Mask?

Put a tape measure on your face and measure from the bridge of your nose to your chin. S and M sizes correspond to 13 to 14 cm. For sizes L and XL, measure 15 cm or more.
